Resistance is Futile

The notorious anti-gay organization, Massresistance doesn't seem to get it.

It is over; they have lost.

In typical Massresistance style they breathlessly report:

Thursday, May 22, the Massachusetts Senate unanimously caved in to the homosexual lobby. Using a particularly sleazy maneuver they increased the funding for homosexual programs in the schools by $300,000 -- to $850,000 in the 2009 budget.

This money will go (either directly or indirectly) to the hideous Massachusetts Commission on Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Youth, which (among other things) recently organized the disgusting Youth Pride Day on the Boston Common. They had also announced that "parents are the problem" because they teach traditional values.
Oh, but note this:

"...the Massachusetts Senate unanimously caved in to the homosexual lobby."

Unanimously!

They even admit that the longer have ANY support in the Massachusetts Senate:

Even the "Good" Senators caved in.

Yep, even the "Good Senators"

It is over.

Massresistance is now nothing more than the proverbial old man yelling at kids to "get off my lawn."

You sure got the big point -- they are so delusional that they note overwhelming losses as well as list long sets of mainstream U.S. firms supporting Pride events and don't get the implications They've lost. GLBT folk, at least around here, are just fine. Thank you very much.

I envision them as a dwindling party. Fewer and fewer of them in smaller and smaller rooms, muttering to themselves and confident that they will rise again. Haar!

It's hard to take a group seriously when its news items use loaded words like "sleazy," "disgusting," and "hideous."

and SHOCKING!

Someone should buy them a thesaurus; they use the same old tired words in every news item.

Has anyone else read MFI's latest email blast? They talk about New Hampshire and use the same quotes around civil unions as they do gay "marriage". I thought the whole point of those quotation marks were because we don't have marriage according to them. Do we not have "civil unions" either?

The level of dishonesty and hate is simply laughable. They say they would have been all for civil unions, yet they went right over to Oregon and tried to help stop civil unions there. I smell bullshit Mr. Mineau!

Sure....and Dewey defeats Truman. It's only beginning John. MassResistance is only getting started. We're here fo the long haul. The American people are opposed to homosexality and will have their day.

If you really believe tha "it's over," why not shut down your Blog? Why did you thank Gov. Patrick and tell him you're still fighting? Fighting what? If it's really over John, you can stop fighting.

You know better...we resist you to the face.

Well, the hard part is over, but the smaller, albeit important, battles remain.

At least here in MA.

Nationwide, we have a lot of work to do.

Can you say "Constitutional Amendment to ban same-sex 'marriage.'" We can. And the American people want it.

You will lose.

The Federal Marriage Amendment is dead.

There is no linger any serious effort to introduce it.

So Derek, once your federal enforcement banning gay marriages happens how do you think they will deal with people like me who are already married? What about all the other people who have been married for years?

If you want to see a true legal conundrum this is one.

I don't want it.
Count me out of your bigotry.
