This reminds me of "Where were you when the wall came down?"

For years I attended a seminar each year in Texas at a large hotel that oddly enough had a four foot section of the Berlin wall out in its quad. It was very inspiring; one side was stark, the other was filled with rebellious graffiti.

The rage against the machine eventually wins where freedom is denied.

That is so true, like I've always said these are quite interesting times we are living in right now, we are witness to some good that is happening, finally.
